During the intake procedure, we go through a comprehensive evaluation of the patient’s problems and symptoms. We apply a Bio-Psycho-Social Model. The duration of the intake assessment is 60 minutes and 90 minutes for patients with complications.

Along with the intake, we may request additional laboratory tests to rule out any medical or organic problem that may cause or mimic psychiatric symptoms. We will also consider complementary psychological testing to clarify the diagnosis.

Once the evaluation is completed we will provide detailed information about the diagnosis and treatment plan. Will discuss our findings and take time to explain any question the patient may have.
