Welcome to Clínica Sant Gervasi
The Clinic is directed by Dr. Albert Blasi, psychiatrist with 15 years of experience as professor and medical director of several university medical centers in USA. Still working part time in the USA and in addition has a telemedicine program that treats U.S patients from Clínica Sant Gervasi On-line.
At his return to Barcelona, Dr. Blasi worked as an attending physician and later as head of the psychiatric inpatient unit at the Hospital Universitari Vall d´Hebron.
Currently continues collaborating with US hospitals. He treats inpatient psychiatric patients within the US and outpatients from Barcelona through telemedicine and combines the above activities with his private practice at Clínica Sant Gervasi.
The team has been selected to treat adult psychiatric and psychological disorders according to the latest pharmacological and psychotherapeutic advances.
Telemedicine: Clínica Sant Gervasi will start a Telemedicine program soon. This is an On-line program that will treat patients from other clinics or from home. Telemedicine is well known in the US and is as effective as conventional treatment.
